UCHS Holds 13th Annual Golf Tournament

United Church Homes and Services (UCHS) Foundation Golf Tournament was recently held at Catawba County Club in Newton. The 13th annual tournament presenting sponsor was Sodexo and Mike Johnson’s Hickory Toyota provided the Hole-in-One prize, a 2016 Camry.
The first place team, with a gross score of 53 represented Catawba Valley Medical Center and the first place team with a net score of 47 represented Sigmon’s Painting & Wallcovering. Each member of the winning teams received a trophy and gift certificate to Catawba Country Club Pro Shop.
"Each and every sponsor and participant made the 2016 UCHS golf tournament a great success," said Nancy Beard, UCHS Foundation President. "Along with the tremendous support from our sponsors, we had 29 golf teams, 116 players and over 30 volunteers that helped make the event possible. Our organization is grateful to be part of a community that aims to make a difference."
