UCHS - Advocates on Aging

March 20, 2019

United Church Homes and Services CEO, Lee Syria and COO, Aimee Reimann recently attended the 2019 LeadingAge Leadership Summit in Washington, DC.  Leaders from both inside and outside the aging services field came together to take part in mission-critical conversations addressing what’s happening in this complex, often chaotic world and how we can effectively respond to a variety of market forces impacting senior services. Over the course of three days, influencers with a variety of perspectives discussed market disruptors, explored new business models and partnership opportunities, weighed the viability of new technologies, and stayed abreast of policies impacting how we care for older adults. The summit is one of the most valuable networking events in the field of aging that unites influential leaders with the knowledge and relationships needed to better understand the world of senior services.

Both Syria and Reimann connected with staff members from the offices of US Congressman Patrick McHenry (R-NC 10th District), US Congressman Ted Budd (R-NC 13th District),  and Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC). United Church Homes and Services – Advocates on Aging.
