Reach Out and Read for Love of Neighbor

December 7, 2017

Make the holiday extra special this year with gifts that will change the lives of children and impact the community.  Piedmont Crossing is collecting donations for Reach Out and Read, a program administered through Thomasville Pediatrics.  Reach Out and Read provides free, age-appropriate books for children 6-months to 5-years old, and teaches parents how reading together is one of the best things they can do for their child.  Thomasville Pediatrics gives away about 10,000 books every year.

Donations for Reach Out and Read will be collected at Piedmont Crossing through December 25.  This program is part of the United Church of Christ initiative 3 Great Loves, a just world for all - Love of Neighbor, Love of Children and Love of Community.
