Davidson County Commissioners Recognize PACE
August 9, 2017
Davidson County Commissioners read a proclamation at their regular scheduled meeting recognizing September 2017 as PACE Month. PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) addresses the needs of the frail elderly and disabled adults age 55 or older, a population which is growing rapidly and whose impact on health care costs is tremendous. Carolina SeniorCare PACE in Lexington provides employment to 115 persons and annually generates 7 million dollars for business in the service area.
Commission Zak Crotts recognized Executive Director of Carolina SeniorCare PACE, Thomas Chang and the proclamation was accepted by United Church Homes and Services President/CEO, Lee Syria.
