Welcome to St. Joseph's Place, a housing ministry of United Church Homes and Services. St Joseph's opened in 2003 and quickly became known for its security and affordability. Located directly behind St Joseph's AME Church in Durham, it's easy to find as well.

St. Joseph's Place is a HUD 202 community designed to meet the needs of adults, age 62 and older, whose income does not exceed the current limitations. As a ministry of United Church Homes and Services we are proud to offer not only housing but supportive services and special amenities including:

• On-site laundry facilities
• A secured entry system
• A comfortably furnished lounge with fireplace
• Individually controlled heating and air conditioning in each apartment
• On-site exercise room
• No extra charge for utilities
