In October of 2000, United Church Homes and Services acquired Centerclair, a privately owned nursing community in Lexington, NC. Centerclair's longstanding reputation for quality care was only enhanced by the transition to a church related not for profit ministry. Sixty residents receive skilled nursing and assisted living services at Centerclair which is located only six miles from Piedmont Crossing retirement community in Thomasville. Kid's Only, a child day care is located on the grounds of Centerclair, provides enrichment opportunities for both generations.
