New VP Named

United Church Homes and Services has appointed Aimee Reimann to Vice President of Home and Community Based Services. 

Ms. Reimann joined the United Church Homes and Services family in 2008 as Executive Director of Abernethy Laurels, a continuing care retirement community that is home to over 350 individuals and has over thirteen years experience in healthcare management.  As Executive Director of Abernethy Laurels, Ms. Reimann was instrumental in the start up operations and the successful programming of the 40,000 sq ft community center addition at Abernethy Laurels.

In her new role, Ms. Reimann's primary focus will be advancing and implementing new and innovative models of senior care, with an emphasis on home and community based planning.

Doug Fleegle, President and CEO states, "Aimee brings with her a great deal of expertise as a skilled nursing home administrator and retirement community Executive Director. Her energy and enthusiasm will greatly benefit the organization in its efforts to expand and implement home and community based service models."

United Church Homes and Services (UCHS) is a not for profit, church affiliated provider of senior living opportunities and programs of outreach.  The corporation operates fourteen programs at eleven sites in North Carolina and Virginia serving 1200 seniors and 50 children.
